Course Content
Life Cycle Psychology: theoretical reference models and intervention strategies. The subject of particular study will be constituted by narratives, as an expression of the individual's ability to weave the plot of one's life, and by art therapy, as intervention strategies that can be used throughout the life cycle, from childhood to old age.

Learning Objectives
Knowledge and understanding.
The course aims to provide knowledges on: a) theoretical and methodological aspects of contemporary research in Life Span Psychology; b) life-span perspective, from childhood to the old age; c) psychological processes and mechanisms that regulate psychological development in the various phases of the life cycle; d) being able to understand the needs of the people across the life span and in their context.
Applying knowledge and understanding.
The course aims to provide skills for: a) knowing how to observe contexts, and people in contexts; b) knowing how to grasp the psychological and relational needs, and how to realize interventions; c) knowing how to use some models of design in psychology.
Making judgments.
Particular attention will be paid to develop a critical attitude, and to teach students how to express their opinions and point of view in front of the whole group.
Communication skills.
The course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to use an apppropriate technical language.
