Course Content
The course is aimed to the acquisition of the theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools for the educational design in national and international contexts.
In particular, the empirical and practical aspects of the design of NOPs projects, Regional Training projects funded through European Structural Funds and Erasums + Key Actions 1 and 2 will be analyzed.

Learning Objectives
Goals
The course aims to:
1. introduce students to international planning in the fields of education and training, youth and sports, providing them with appropriate theoretical, conceptual and methodological skills;
2. promote awareness of the application of educational and training knowledge in planning and project management practices;
3. make students autonomous in using some conceptual and methodological tools of the educational design process;
4. provide students with adequate communication skills to enter an increasingly transnational sector of education;
5. build the most appropriate reflective and critical competence for educational contexts.
Learning outcomes
1) Knowledge and understanding: Know tools and devices through which training projects funded through European Structural Funds are built. Know the concepts of goal, learning outcome, impact.
2) Applying knowledge and understanding: Knowing how to apply different training devices to the various phases of the life cycle of a project;
3) Making judgments: knowing how to plan a complex educational action with particular reference to the transnational dimension of the actions;
4) Communication skills: knowing how to communicate an educational action adapting it to the specific presentation formats of differents program;
5) Learning skills: knowing how to build an autonomous research path aimed at identifying the training opportunities offered by European design through which continuing their own learning process.

Basic knowledge in education, andragogy and teaching principles.
Teaching Methods
Methods:
1. Lessons aimed at introducing themes and concepts related to the course contents. The lessons will be complemented by presentations with power points, small group activities and exercises.
2. Simulations of design activities, preparatory to the Project work that will be used for the final exam.
3. Group review of the Project Work.

Further information
The use of remote collaboration tools that characterize the activity of designers in the fields of education, training, youth and sport in the European transnational context will be an integral part of the course.
Type of Assessment
The exam will take place in written form.
For attending students:
Learning will be assessed through a Project Work preferably developed in team, set up within the course and carried out as delineated during the first lesson. The paper must be uploaded on the platform that hosts the course materials at least five days before the exam session.
For non-attending students:
Learning will be assessed through a Project Work elaborated individually according to the agreement made by email with the teacher. The paper must be sent to the teacher at least five days before the exam session.
Attending Student: is the student who is registered on the platform hosting the course materials, carries out exercises 1,2,3 and participates to the Project work’s revision session before the start of session in which he intends to take the exam.
For attending students:
