From 2013, subject to the provisions of Law 240/2010, it was launched  in all Italian universities a path of accreditation and evaluation of the courses of study aimed at improving the quality of teaching, to have unique criteria of programming, disbursement of activities and the assessment of results, provide adequate information to students in respect of the criteria of transparency.

In this context also the University of Florence has set up an Innovation Plan and Quality of Education for the strengthening of self-assessment, initial and periodic accreditation of offices and university courses.

The master’s degree follows this path of self-evaluation and accreditation.
